The following data was copied from an old Bible in our possession that was probably owned by Samuel Conway. further that most of the names and dates appear in his handwriting. I assume this fact because that data all concerns his own family and his fathers family and that it is all written by one person. further that all dates after 1830 appear in a different hand. Samuel Conway died in 1830. The probable possessors of this bible were Samuel Conway, then his daughter Anna Miller, she was his last surviving child, then at her death in 1866 to her grand daughter Melinda Thrasher Pennewill, at her death to her children, then from them to Wm Gideon Miller, who now owns it.
